Susan Silberberg is a city planner, urban designer, architect, author and MIT Lecturer. She works with public and private clients to improve our cities and communities and make great things happen. She is the Founder of CivicMoxie, LLC, and Co-founder of Fairsted Advisors, LLC. Susan is lead author of the MIT publication Places in the Making: How placemaking builds places and communities (2013). She is also author of “Pretext securitization of Boston’s public realm after 9/11: Motives, actors and a role for planners” in Policing Cities: Securitization and Regulation in a 21st Century World (Routledge, 2013).
